Produce diagnostic radiographs and computed tomography images at Lakeridge Health across Ajax-Pickering and Oshawa. Work regular full time shifts, including nights and on-call coverage.
As a Registered Technologist in General X-Ray, you will support Diagnostic Imaging Services through imaging, documentation, and patient care. The position requires radiographic, fluoroscopic, and computed tomography knowledge, equipment proficiency, and effective communication. You will assist Radiologists and rotate into other radiographic modalities.
Key Responsibilities: Produce radiographs and computed tomography images
Store images and record examinations as required
Assist Radiologists during procedures
Maintain patient comfort and safety
Participate in student and technologist training
Requirements: Recognized Medical Radiation Sciences program completion
Current CMRITO license
Knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations
Ability to use X-Ray, CT, and fluoroscopy equipment
Availability for all shifts, stand-by call, and short notice
Apply radiographic imaging, computed tomography, and patient-care expertise as a Registered Technologist with Lakeridge Health.
