Lead summer camp operations for CISS across Ontario, combining staff leadership, logistics coordination, and youth safety. Work primarily from home off-season, then in office daily during summer.
As Manager, Camp Operations, you will plan and deliver CISS summer programmes throughout the year. You will recruit, train, schedule, supervise, and support staff while coordinating with Directors, agents, site partners, students, families, and group leaders. The work supports educational and cultural objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Plan and manage year-round summer programme delivery
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise camp staff
Coordinate activities, logistics, safety, and organizational standards
Lead emergency responses and resolve student concerns
Monitor budgets, control costs,



and improve procedures
Requirements: Experience managing camp, educational, recreational, or youth programmes
Strong recruitment, coaching, supervision, and performance management skills
Experience scheduling, allocating resources, monitoring budgets, and controlling costs
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Greater Toronto Area location, driver’s licence, and summer travel availability
Bring sound judgement, operational leadership, and youth safety awareness to CISS summer programmes across Ontario each season.
