As Structural Engineer II, you will contribute technical expertise throughout design, permitting, construction, and field assessment activities. The position requires analytical judgment across wide-ranging materials, construction techniques, codes, and structural systems. You will also review documentation and support talent development.
Key Responsibilities: Draft sketches, contract drawings, and specifications
Conduct field inspections and condition assessments
Estimate construction costs using takeoffs and historic costs
Review shop drawings, submittals, and project documentation
Coach or mentor subordinate staff when directed
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Four to seven years of structural experience or schooling
Experience creating structural analysis models and calculations
Detailed planning and organization skills
Ability to travel approximately fifteen days annually
