As a Family Time Support Worker, you will help parents and children experience successful family time together. Your work includes hand-over-hand teaching, reinforcing caregiver strengths, and supporting attachment. You will share practical guidance about child development, age-appropriate expectations, play, structure, routines, basic needs, and positive discipline. Families may include those connected to Children and Family Services.
Key Responsibilities: Teach and reinforce parenting skills during supported family time
Support parents caring for children in their primary care
Strengthen caregiver relationships, attachment, and child-focused routines




Provide transportation as needed for family appointments
Document services objectively and attend supervision meetings
Requirements: Education in social work, psychology, education, or related discipline
Experience with Children and Family Services is an asset
Strong organizational, collaborative, and problem-solving skills
Required qualified registration where eligible
Five-year driver’s abstract and vulnerable sector screening
Use strengths-based, reflective, and culturally humble practice to support parent-child relationships through trauma-informed family services.
