Help sustain oil sands information systems with Canadian Natural, designing solutions, resolving issues, and supporting applications from Calgary.
Working with the Upgrading and Utilities Information Systems team, you will support application stewardship for the oil sands business unit. The Systems Analyst designs components and data structures from business requirements and logical data models. Occasional travel to northern Alberta field sites is required.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and test solutions throughout application lifecycles
Demonstrate completed solutions to end users
Implement maintenance procedures and deployment practices
Repair everyday application problems and reported errors




Provide technical direction to application development resources
Requirements: Eight-plus years of Systems Analyst and development work
Post-secondary degree or diploma in computer sciences
Business-critical applications and infrastructure support background
Application server and web server administration experience
Oracle and SQL Server administration skills
Contribute technical direction, application stewardship, data structure design, and dependable support across Canadian Natural’s oil sands systems.
