Deliver secure geriatric nursing care as a part time Registered Nurse with AgeCare in Willowdale, Ontario, using clinical judgment and teamwork.
The Registered Nurse reports to the Director of Care and collaborates on resident care within competency. This role applies nursing knowledge, skills, judgment, and interpersonal attributes. It supports respectful, ethical services and resident safety.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate nursing and other resident services within the neighbourhood
Lead shift reports with healthcare team members
Communicate changes in residents’ status to team members
Record significant condition changes in resident charts
Review and process physician orders promptly
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing knowledge
Knowledge of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Registration and good standing with provincial registry
Knowledge of applicable nursing legislation and standards
Bring long-term care nursing expertise, resident safety awareness, and collaborative leadership to AgeCare’s Willowdale care community.
