Oxford Learning Centres Inc. seeks teacher-tutors for its Little Readers program. You will teach letter names, sounds, reading, comprehension, vocabulary, writing, and fine motor skills. Lessons use proprietary materials, are pre-planned, and follow fully trained methods.
Key Responsibilities: Teach up to three students at different levels
Develop foundational early reading and phonics skills
Teach letter names, sounds, reading, and comprehension
Support vocabulary, writing, and fine motor development
Maintain a friendly, skilled manner in person
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or relevant certification, or extensive tutoring experience
Knowledge of the Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
Teaching or tutoring experience with Grades 1 to 5
Strong English written and oral communication skills
Vulnerable sector screening and commute to Vancouver required
Bring phonics instruction, communication skills, and early literacy experience to Oxford Learning’s Little Readers program in Vancouver.
