Connect participants with community resources as an Intake and Admissions Worker at KCR Community Resources, supporting referrals, translation, and workshops. This role is temporary for five months.
You will assess participant needs, explain eligibility, complete intake documentation, and direct individuals toward suitable internal and external services. The role includes managing the Resource Centre, assisting computer users, coordinating translation inquiries and payments, maintaining workshop registration, and generating monthly activity reports. You will also secure information files and contribute to Immigrant Services teamwork, planning, and professional development.
Key Responsibilities: Communicate eligibility requirements sensitively to participants
Refer new participants based on eligibility and assessed needs
Coordinate translation inquiries, payments,



invoices, and documents
Maintain registration lists for scheduled workshops
Generate monthly activity reports and secure information files
Requirements: Knowledge of community agencies and resources for marginalized populations
Robust interpersonal, written, verbal, and cross-cultural communication
Organization, multitasking, prioritization, and excellent time management
Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office
Ability to set boundaries and practice self-care
Apply community resource knowledge, accurate documentation, and participant-focused communication across KCR’s initial settlement services.
