This seasonal highway maintenance position runs from October 1st to April 30th, with potential for year-round employment. You will operate trucks and equipment while supporting labourer duties, including crack sealing, pothole repair, and hazard remediation. Training is provided for qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities: Operate snowplow trucks and wheel loaders
Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways during winter
Assist with crack sealing and pothole repairs
Clean bridges and highway signage
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Requirements: Valid Class 1, 2, or 3 licence with air endorsement
Clear three-year driver’s abstract
Successful pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Snowplow or wheel loader experience is an asset
Bring licensed equipment operation, physical readiness, and highway maintenance skills to Ledcor’s Alberta winter operations.
