Support seniors at Sienna Senior Living by delivering excellent nursing care, resident assessments, and personal care in Mississauga.
Reporting to the Director of Care, the Registered Practical Nurse provides care guided by policy, physician orders, and resident plans. This critical community role includes overseeing resident care, communicating with families, and guiding staff. It requires practice within an RPN/LPN scope.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure excellent nursing and personal care delivery
Follow established policies, physician orders, and care plans
Create welcoming support through teamwork and communication
Provide ongoing resident assessment and identify status changes
Guide staff and supervise assigned unregulated team members
Requirements: Valuable-standing registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
Sound judgment and ability to identify resident risks
Geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health experience is an asset
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Required Vulnerable Sector or Criminal Record Check
Use resident-focused nursing practice, assessment skills, and communication to contribute meaningfully within Sienna Senior Living’s community.
