Deliver patient-centered home support as a Community Health Worker at Summerland Health Centre in Summerland, BC, working rotating evening shifts.
Interior Health seeks an experienced, reliable, flexible, and motivated Community Health Worker. You will support clients’ independence and ability to remain at home alongside Nurses and LPNs. The permanent part-time position is 0.67, with scheduled evening shifts from 1600 to 2200 hours. Your work contributes to each client’s home health care plan through personal care, daily living assistance, and delegated tasks completed according to training and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Provide bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene assistance
Complete household duties supporting safe, healthy home environments




Prepare meals according to designated plans
Assist clients with mobility and transfers
Observe and report behavioural or condition changes
Requirements: Experience as a Community Health Worker
Reliable, versatile, and motivated approach to client care
Commitment to patient-centered care
Ability to perform delegated tasks following training
Availability for rotating evening shifts from 1600 to 2200
Support client independence through patient-centered personal care, mobility assistance, meal preparation, and home health services.
