This permanent, full-time Laboratory Technician role supports routine semen production using accepted protocols. The position requires communication, time management, analytical skills, and careful quality-focused work. You will maintain laboratory records, inventories, equipment hygiene, and production processes.
Key Responsibilities: Follow accepted protocols for routine semen production processes
Label, dilute, fill, seal, rack, and freeze materials
Manage extender supplies and dispense liquid nitrogen
Maintain equipment hygiene and laboratory cleanliness
Update databases, records,



and laboratory material inventories
Requirements: College diploma or equivalent education and experience
Laboratory production facility experience preferred
Understanding of production, quality control, and database maintenance
Strong communication, time management, and analytical skills
Ability to stand, work manually, and tolerate cold rooms
Support Semex / Boviteq’s Kemptville laboratory through accurate semen production, quality control, records, and equipment hygiene.
