Greater St. Albert Catholic Schools requires an Educational Assistant supporting students with mild to severe needs. The work may address intellectual, emotional, behavioural, learning, hearing, vision, communication, language, physical, or medical needs. You will assist with Individual Program Plans and positive interventions.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students with mild to severe needs
Implement student Individual Program Plans
Use visual and sensory supports
Apply reinforcement schedules and social stories
Facilitate positive peer interactions
Requirements: Positive approach to social-emotional-behavioural needs
Experience with Positive Behavioral Supports
Strong interpersonal and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
Physical ability to assist students
Education Assistant training is an asset
