Help create student-focused classroom support at Whispering Ridge Community School as a Temporary Educational Assistant. Use teamwork, personal care readiness, and AAC knowledge daily.
With Peace Wapiti Public School Division, you will support students under a certificated teacher’s direction. The temporary full-time schedule runs Monday to Friday for 6.5 hours each day. Experience working with children in a classroom or organized setting is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Assist students within the classroom environment
Follow direction from a certificated teacher
Provide personal care assistance when required
Perform necessary physical duties
Work collaboratively with school team members
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent
Educational Assistant Diploma preferred
Experience with children preferred
Knowledge of LAMP or AAC
Willingness to perform physical tasks
Support student learning environments with classroom experience, AAC knowledge, personal care readiness, and team-oriented Educational Assistant skills.
