Support clients in Beausejour with light housekeeping and laundry services as a Supportive Housing Worker at Stony Plains Terrace. Day, evening, and weekend shifts are anticipated.
Reporting to the Manager Senior Community Housing, this non-clinical position supports clients within a multidisciplinary health care team. The work requires respectful service, effective communication, organization, and household maintenance skills. Previous community experience with elderly or infirm clients is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Assist clients with light housekeeping services
Provide laundry service for supportive housing clients
Respect client comfort, privacy, and dignity
Communicate with clients, families, and coworkers
Support the health care team independently and collaboratively
Requirements: Experience with light household maintenance and laundry
Effective oral and written communication abilities
Solid organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
Satisfactory security, abuse registry, and employment checks
