This Barber role combines hair care, facial grooming, treatments, consultations, sanitation, and shop operations. You will assess hair and face shapes, understand client preferences, and recommend flattering styles. The work includes chemical treatments, scalp care, payments, appointments, supplies, and inventory.
Key Responsibilities: Cut, trim, taper, and style hair
Shave, trim, and shape beards and moustaches
Provide scalp massages, shampooing, and chemical treatments
Consult clients about preferences and flattering styles
Manage sanitation, appointments, payments, supplies, and inventory
Requirements: Ability to use clippers and scissors-over-comb techniques
Proficiency with straight razors and trimmers
Ability to assess hair and face shapes
Knowledge of tool sterilization and health regulations
Ability to provide basic hair or scalp advice
