Perform medical laboratory testing in a corelab setting, rotating through biochemistry, hematology, coagulation, and blood collection services. Shift work includes on-call and weekends.
As a Laboratory Technologist I, you will perform automated and manual testing on various specimens. You will maintain specimen integrity through identification, handling, sorting, and storage. The work also includes reviewing patient reports, entering data, and operating automated instruments.
Key Responsibilities: Perform automated and manual testing on various specimens
Rotate through biochemistry, hematology, and coagulation
Complete blood collection and specimen procurement duties
Maintain specimen identification, handling, sorting, and storage




Operate and maintain various automated instruments
Requirements: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or related degree
Completion of recognized Canadian national technologist examination
Current continuing registration with NL Council of Health Professionals
Satisfactory work performance and attendance record
Willingness to complete requested refresher courses
Apply medical laboratory science, specimen management, and instrument operation across rotating corelab services and patient testing responsibilities.
