Provide complete nursing care as a Registered Nurse IB at DHT Protective Care D Expansion in Botwood’s Central Zone. Support safe, person-centered practice.
This temporary full-time Registered Nurse IB assignment lasts approximately 10 months, with possible extension. Work occurs at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre across days, nights, and weekends. The successful candidate supports clients, families, and team members through professional nursing care and safety-focused practice.
Key Responsibilities: Provide complete nursing care to clients
Promote person-and family-centered care
Support patient and worker safety
Identify risks within work practices
Implement improvements with team members
Requirements: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Maintain registration with the Newfoundland and Labrador nursing association
Hold current BLS certification
Hold required PALS, TNCC, ACLS, and CTAS certifications
Complete Health Assessment training or available courses
Bring skilled nursing care, safety awareness, and collaborative practice to clients at Dr. Hugh Twomey Health Centre.
