Reporting to the Resident Care Manager, this LPN manages daily care delivery and motivates the team. The position emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, critical assessment, active listening, and compassionate resident support. Care follows Covenant Care policies, procedures, mission, vision, and values.
Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day delivery of resident care
Motivate and empower the care team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Apply individualized nursing assessment and planning processes
Support residents, families, and visitors during end-of-life care
Requirements: Graduate of an approved Practical Nurse Program
Current College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta registration
Current CPR, First Aid Certification, or equivalency
Solid critical assessment and active listening skills
Ability to manage difficult behaviors and changing resident needs
