Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a highly organized and tech-savvy Offshore Transportation Coordinator to join our retail client's Offshore (Ocean Freight) Transportation team in Calgary, Alberta, for a 1 year contract. This individual would be responsible for supporting key logistics functions including data entry, container tracking, document organization, forecasting, and tendering. This role involves booking delivery appointments, verifying shipment documentation, and maintaining a shared group email inbox—sorting, filing, and actioning messages to support daily planning. Success in this role requires strong multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment and comfort working with MS Suite programs (Outlook, Excel etc.,). Strong customer service skills are essential, as this individual will frequently interact with external clients and transportation partners to ensure seamless logistics operations. A background in Transportation or Supply Chain and/or knowledge of custom logistics programs, would be considered an asset!
Skills and Requirements
A background in Transportation or Supply Chain and/or knowledge of custom logistics programs




Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUP + basic functions) and comfortable working with MS Suite programs, such as Outlook
Robust multitasking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced / high-pressure environment
Experience in a Data Entry / Analyst role
