Apply certified fire alarm expertise at Convergint’s Suncor Base Plant site, supporting moderately complex systems on a 14/14 rotation.
As a Certified Fire Alarm Technician, you will provide technical support for recent and previously installed systems. Your work includes testing, repairs, servicing, programming, commissioning, inspections, and maintenance. You will troubleshoot equipment and software, address service calls, and communicate project status.
Key Responsibilities: Test, repair, and service fire alarm systems
Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and software
Perform inspections, maintenance, installation, and commissioning
Complete calibration and commissioning reports
Participate in the afterhours on-call program
Requirements: Current CFAA Fire Certification in good standing
EST-3/3X and/or EST-4 certifications
At least two years of industrial fire alarm experience
At least two years of installation and commissioning experience
Valid, clean driving license
Bring fire alarm troubleshooting, programming, and commissioning expertise to Convergint’s customer-focused Suncor Base Plant service team.
