Support McDougall Energy’s Operations Team through employee relations, recruitment, workplace investigations, and practical human resources guidance.
As Human Resources Manager, you will report to the Director, Human Resources and deliver services aligned with company objectives. The position supports managers and employees with daily operations, performance matters, discipline, documentation, and compliance. You will also partner with Health & Safety.
Key Responsibilities: Provide HR guidance on performance and disciplinary matters
Maintain employee records and legally required documentation
Partner with Health & Safety on compliance initiatives
Present investigation findings and make recommendations




Support employee engagement and retention efforts
Requirements: Two to five years of progressive experience managing HR functions
Knowledge of transportation industry considered an asset
Understanding of scheduling, hours, breaks, and rest requirements
Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships
Ability to adjust to changing business priorities
Bring sound judgement, communication, and employee relations expertise to McDougall Energy’s Operations Team in this Goderich-based position.
