Apply structural welding inspection expertise at Cementation’s BHP Jansen site in Saskatchewan, supporting quality compliance and accurate documentation. Work a 14-on, 14-off rotation with 12-hour shifts.
The QC Coordinator and Inspector examines structural, mechanical, and civil installations. This position applies CSA W59, engineering drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and Inspection and Test Plans. The work supports secure project execution through disciplined inspections, quality records, and coordination with construction, engineering, operations, and client representatives.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect structural welding against CSA W59 and project requirements
Verify structural steel, mechanical, and civil installation compliance
Complete inspection records, turnover documents, and quality reports




Identify and communicate deficiencies and non-conformances
Coordinate required NDE activities and documentation
Requirements: Required CWB Level 2 Welding Inspector certification
Preferred three to five years of QA/QC inspection experience
Ability to interpret drawings, welding symbols, and technical documents
Understanding of welding codes, bolt-up, and mechanical installation practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Bluebeam
Use CWB Level 2 certification, CSA W59 knowledge, and inspection discipline to support Cementation’s mining construction quality requirements.
