Build donor relationships as a Supporter Engagement Specialist with the Canadian Cancer Society in Toronto or Ottawa, using fundraising and communication skills.
This 12-month contract supports Community Giving Department revenue goals within a hybrid work model. You will manage donor and partner accounts while supporting programs including Run for the Cure, Relay for Life, independent fundraising events, special events, and giving programs. The position combines relationship-based fundraising, business development, and donor stewardship.
Key Responsibilities: Prospect, cultivate, solicit, secure, manage, and steward donor accounts
Support donor and participant fundraising program development
Monitor markets and identify recent partnership opportunities




Maintain CRM integrity through compliant data entry
Deliver the full donor experience with CCS teams
Requirements: Minimum three years fundraising or sales experience
At least one year relationship-based donor fundraising experience
Experience with community giving and special events
Strong communication, negotiation, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
Bring donor stewardship, partnership development, and fundraising expertise to support Canadian Cancer Society revenue goals across Toronto or Ottawa.
