Emergency Health Services is hiring Primary Care Paramedics for Calgary Division EMS - Calgary Metro. You will assess patients, provide clinical care, operate ambulances, and support transport between emergency scenes and facilities. The position may include leading BLS crews during patient care.
Key Responsibilities: Assess emergency scenes and patients during calls
Transport ill or injured patients between locations
Administer minor medications and basic life support
Provide semi-automated defibrillation when required
Lead BLS crews during clinical care
Requirements: Non-restricted Alberta PCP registration in valuable standing
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support CPR certification
Valid Class 4 Alberta Operator's Licence or equivalent
Five-year driver abstract with no more than six demerits
Qualification for full operational duties at start
Bring patient assessment, BLS care, and emergency transport skills to Primary Care Paramedic work with Calgary EMS.
