Located at 241 Lonsdale Avenue, this position supports retail operations through customer service, donations, product processing, and transactions. You will greet customers and donors, sort and price merchandise, replenish inventory, and maintain an organized store. The schedule varies across weekdays and Saturdays, with frequent standing, bending, crouching, twisting, and reaching. The role reports to the Store Manager and includes no direct reports.
Key Responsibilities: Greet customers and donors courteously throughout store operations
Complete cash and debit transactions accurately
Sort, process, price, and store donations




Replenish sales-floor inventory and support displays
Maintain secure, clean, organized store areas
Requirements: Completion of some high school coursework
A few months of customer service or goods-processing experience
Required cash handling and cash register experience
Ability to lift and carry up to 29 pounds frequently
Successful applicable screening and background checks
Bring customer service, cash handling, merchandise processing, and attention to detail to The Salvation Army’s North Vancouver store.
