Central Zone is seeking an Operating Room Technician for a temporary full-time assignment at Central NL Regional Health Centre. Working under a Registered Nurse, this position provides care across Perioperative and Ambulatory environments for clients and families. Duties include vital signs, medication reconciliation, assessments, counselling, reporting, and research assistance.
Key Responsibilities: Provide perioperative operating room technician duties
Complete Ambulatory Clinic LPN and ORT duties
Perform medication reconciliation and record vital signs
Conduct health assessments and counselling




Support data reporting and research activities
Requirements: Graduate from an approved practical nursing program
Hold current CLPNNL registration and BLS certification
Complete a recognized comprehensive perioperative nursing course
Demonstrate wound care and medication administration proficiency
Provide satisfactory work, attendance, and conduct records
Bring perioperative expertise, practical nursing credentials, and team-oriented care skills to Central NL Regional Health Centre’s surgical services.
