Reporting to the Executive Director, the Recreation Manager plans, organizes, and executes activities supporting social interaction, physical well-being, spiritual connection, and emotional enjoyment. Southbridge Care Homes seeks a flexible, adaptable candidate for its long-term care home. The position supervises recreation, pastoral care, social work, music therapy, massage therapy, and volunteer services.
Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and monitor the department budget
Plan activities, entertainment, bus trips, and community events
Supervise program staff, volunteers, and therapy teams




Evaluate programs and complete resident engagement assessments
Coordinate schedules, payroll approvals, meetings, and MDS assessments
Requirements: Postsecondary education in recreation, leisure, kinesiology, or related studies
One year of experience in a health care setting
Experience developing and evaluating interdisciplinary resident programming
Knowledge of dementia, mental health, palliative care, and Parkinson's
English and French oral and written communication skills
