Island Health seeks a regular part time Licensed Practical Nurse for care of complex but stable residents. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, following competency guidelines, BCCNM Standards of Practice, agency operating policies, and unit protocols. The position has a 0.74 paid FTE and 52.50 bi-weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities: Provide nursing care for complex stable residents
Complete assessments and implement plans of care
Perform personal care and nursing procedures
Administer medications according to practice standards
Maintain quality and safety responsibilities
Requirements: Current practicing LPN registration with BCCNM
Knowledge of required full-scope nursing competencies
Ability to communicate with residents and families
Ability to organize work effectively
Physical ability to carry out nursing duties
Use practical nursing judgment, care planning, and procedure skills while supporting Island Health’s quality and safety priorities.
