As a Postal Clerk, you will support public-facing counter service and varied mail operations. The work includes customer service, point-of-sale systems, financial transactions, and mail processing. You may work days, evenings, overnights, and weekends while building knowledge of postal products and services.
Key Responsibilities: Perform sales and customer service activities
Operate computer point-of-sale systems
Process cash, cheque, debit, and credit payments
Receive, sort, sequence, and batch mail items
Maintain displays, merchandising, and inventory control
Requirements: Customer service experience in a retail environment
Sales experience is an asset
Production setting experience is an asset
Flexible schedule for varied shifts and weekends
Ability to handle mail items up to 22.7 kilograms
Bring retail customer service, transaction processing, and mail handling skills to Canada Post’s Petrolia operations.
