As a Radiation Therapist I, you will plan and deliver ionizing radiation according to physician prescriptions and set-up instructions. You will support simulation, patient explanations, treatment records, and quality assurance. The position requires accurate positioning and controlled machine operation.
Key Responsibilities: Administer prescribed radiation treatments accurately
Participate in simulation and patient positioning
Explain procedures, treatments, and side effects
Maintain daily treatment records and parameters
Complete treatment chart quality assurance checks
Requirements: Graduate from an approved Radiation Therapy program
Current CAMRT Radiation Therapy registration
Member in good standing with CAMRT
Satisfactory record of work performance
Strength for patient repositioning and equipment handling
Apply technical performance, precise positioning, and compassionate patient care as a Radiation Therapist I in Eastern Zone.
