The Dock Worker role combines warehouse handling with freight documentation and distribution. Duties include loading trailers, moving freight to P&D; equipment, reweighing and cubing shipments, and maintaining a clean yard and warehouse.
Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound and outbound trailer loading
Move freight to P&D; trailers and trucks
Reweigh and cube freight as required
Document shipment overages, shortages, and damages
Maintain claim-free freight movement
Requirements: Forklift experience
Physical fitness and ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to work well with others
Ability to take direction
Ability to solve problems in changing situations
Contribute to Manitoulin Transport’s reliable freight operations through warehouse accuracy, secure lifting, forklift experience, and teamwork.
