This Lab Technician I position performs routine sample preparation and analysis using ICP, GC ECD, Bomb Calorimeter, Auto Titrator, and Karl-Fischer. The work supports production, sales, operations, and materials moving through GFL facilities. Previous laboratory experience is an asset, while accurate records, safety awareness, and procedural consistency remain essential.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyze routine samples using laboratory instruments
Sample drums and perform compatibility testing and analysis
Report analytical results and coordinate with production personnel
Maintain analysis, maintenance,



and production records accurately
Perform lab packing, housekeeping, and assigned facility duties
Requirements: Environmental or Chemical Engineering Technician or Technologist diploma
Previous laboratory experience is an asset
Competent MS Windows and Office computer skills
Solid organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to follow procedures, multitask, and work shifts
Support GFL operations through precise sample analysis, documentation, technical information gathering, and safe laboratory practices.
