This Logistics Coordinator role covers purchasing, sourcing, inventory, and shipment coordination for Umicore. You will obtain quotations, assess cost and quality, negotiate where appropriate, and maintain supplier relationships. The position also supports timely materials availability and accurate invoice processing.
Key Responsibilities: Source suppliers and issue purchase orders efficiently
Follow up on deliveries and inspect shipment completeness
Match invoices with purchase orders and approve payments
Maintain inventory levels for materials and supplies
Research and develop suppliers for evolving business needs
Requirements: Three to five years of procurement or supply chain experience
Manufacturing environment experience preferred
Solid knowledge of ERP and procurement software
Three-year college diploma or equivalent in a related discipline
Negotiation training or supply chain designation considered an asset
Bring purchasing, supplier evaluation, inventory control, and procurement software experience to Umicore’s Markham team.
