This Licensed Assistant Manager role partners with the store manager to diagnose business performance and develop the team. You will coordinate Retail, Lab, and Doctor synergies while supporting plans for sales and profitability. The role combines management responsibilities with patient-focused optical service.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose business performance and identify opportunities for recovery
Support recruiting, selection, staffing, and talent pipeline development
Teach product knowledge and guide team members
Present and dispense eyewear based on prescriptions
Adjust, repair,



and digitally measure eyewear accurately
Requirements: Current and valid state Opticianry license
At least one year of management or supervisory experience
Knowledge of retail processes, policies, and operations
Robust selling, listening, written, and oral communication skills
Ability to work nights and weekends flexibly
Bring optical licensing, store leadership, and retail business knowledge to strengthen LensCrafters teams, sales execution, and patient experiences.
