Lead APQP timelines, trials, and launch documentation as a Product Development Engineer onsite at Johnson Electric’s Mississauga, Ontario facility. Support production-ready processes.
In this engineering role, you will guide product and process development from early engineering through successful production launch. Your responsibilities include cross-functional technical support, customer communication, prototype coordination, capacity analysis, process conditions, and production troubleshooting. Continuous improvement remains central to product quality, productivity, and waste reduction.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain APQP documentation, Process Flow Diagrams, and PFMEAs
Conduct manufacturing capacity analysis studies and engineering trials
Establish process conditions from trial results




Translate engineering findings into production recommendations
Transfer pre-production knowledge to Production teams during launches
Requirements: Practical understanding of product and process development activities
Experience collecting and analyzing manufacturing trial data
Working knowledge of two-dimensional and three-dimensional design tools
Robust computer, problem-solving, and time-management skills
Hands-on approach working closely with manufacturing operations
