Support senior residents as a temporary part time Registered Nurse in North Bay, providing skilled care, medication administration, and documentation.
Reporting to the Director of Care, you will assess resident needs and plan care at Northern Heights Community. The position provides 30 hours bi-weekly for mat leave coverage. Your work includes nursing procedures, medication administration, documentation, supervision, and resident-centered planning.
Key Responsibilities: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident nursing care
Administer medications and deliver skilled nursing procedures
Develop care goals with residents or substitute decision makers
Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and ongoing assessments
Teach RPNs, LPNs, and PSWs current skills




Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Nursing, or equivalent
Current Registered Nurse registration with applicable provincial nursing college
Knowledge of nursing processes and geriatric care trends
Effective English communication, organizational, and computer skills
Ability to pass required screening and background checks
Bring compassionate resident care, clinical assessment, medication administration, and nursing leadership to Northern Heights Community in North Bay.
