Strengthen supplier partnerships and secure fabricated components as a Manufacturing Buyer supporting custom projects in Scarborough, Ontario. Work full-time in a hybrid arrangement with regular onsite collaboration.
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will source raw materials, build supplier relationships, and negotiate competitive pricing. This Buyer role combines purchasing with production planning across multiple project stages. You will coordinate with Project Management, Cost Estimation, Account Management, and Production while balancing cost, quality, capacity, and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Develop partnerships with existing and new suppliers
Secure capacity and strengthen supply reliability
Obtain, evaluate, and negotiate competitive supplier quotes




Monitor delivery timelines and expedite materials when needed
Communicate sourcing updates across internal teams
Requirements: Experience with raw materials or custom-manufactured products
Understanding of supplier quotes, pricing, quality, and delivery
Experience coordinating purchasing with production schedules
Comfort using Excel and ERP or MRP systems
Robust negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities
Use supplier management, sourcing, and negotiation skills to support reliable delivery across custom manufacturing projects.
