The Registered Nurse provides patient-centered care at Providence Hospital in Toronto. This permanent part-time position involves assessing, implementing, and evaluating nursing care while collaborating with patients, families, and inter-professional teams. The RN also supports ongoing professional development and accountable practice.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patient/client health needs and identify care priorities
Implement and evaluate individualized nursing interventions safely
Document care according to College standards and policies
Report patient/client status changes to appropriate team members




Coordinate care planning, staffing, supplies, and consultations
Requirements: Good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current BCLS certification is mandatory
Knowledge of nursing science and gerontological nursing
Effective communication with patients, families, and coworkers
Very good attendance and good performance records
