Deliver cardiac procedural nursing care at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto as a part-time permanent Registered Nurse supporting CIU and Cath Lab patients.
This Registered Nurse works within Heart and Vascular inter-professional teams. The position covers pre- to post-procedural care, diagnostic catheterization, PCI, and structural heart procedures. Practice includes evidence-based, culturally appropriate, patient-centered care aligned with College of Nurses of Ontario standards.
Key Responsibilities: Assess patient care and learning needs before procedures
Coordinate nursing activities with inter-skilled care teams
Provide intra-procedural care during diagnostic catheterization and PCI
Document assessments, observations, and care provision




Support discharge and transition planning
Requirements: Current General Class registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
ACLS certification or willingness to obtain within six weeks
At least six months recent Cath Lab, ICU, PACU, or Emergency experience
Level I and II Coronary Care Certificates or willingness to obtain
Vascular access and venipuncture skills required
Bring cardiac procedural, patient-centered, and collaborative nursing expertise to St. Michael's Hospital's Heart and Vascular team.
