Support HVAC maintenance at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia as a hands-on Building Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Victoria. Work Monday to Friday.
This regular full time position reports to the Maintenance Team Lead within Precinct Services. You will perform maintenance projects, coordinate resources, and plan work activities. The work requires attention to deadlines, budgets, building systems, and mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance projects according to strict deadlines
Deliver projects within established budgets and plans
Acquire resources required for maintenance project work
Plan work activities according to project requirements
Support building mechanical maintenance with HVAC specialization
Requirements: Minimum two years in property management or trades
Valid British Columbia Driver’s License
Experience assisting with commercial or institutional HVAC maintenance
Formal HVAC or related mechanical program training
Hands-on experience with building systems and mechanical components
Bring HVAC knowledge, project planning, and hands-on mechanical experience to Precinct Services at the Legislative Assembly.
