Apply medical laboratory expertise at Conestoga’s Doon campus, preparing clinical, life science, and BSL2 laboratories on-site Monday to Friday. Support student learning through practical demonstrations, testing, and evaluations.
This temporary full time replacement contract requires a Medical Laboratory Sciences Technologist for an immediate need through May 5, 2028. You will prepare laboratory materials, maintain equipment, support student skill development, and contribute to laboratory operations. The position serves student, researcher, and faculty activities across clinical diagnostic and life science environments.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare solutions, media, chemicals, cultures, and tissue preparations
Maintain clean, safe, and operational laboratory spaces
Evaluate student practical performance under faculty direction




Provide remedial assistance and document student skill findings
Maintain equipment, inventories, quality status, and validation records
Requirements: Three-year diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences or related field
Canadian Society of Medical Laboratory Science certification
Registration with the CMLTO
Minimum two years’ Medical Laboratory Technologist experience
Strong communication, organization, planning, and independent work skills
