Addiction and mental health nursing expertise can support Medicine Hat Recovery Centre clients through recovery-oriented care. This casual RN/RPN work is based in Medicine Hat, Alberta.
Recovery Alberta seeks Registered Nurses or Registered Psychiatric Nurses for complex addiction services. The role uses trauma-informed, patient-centered, and recovery-based care within a multidisciplinary team. You will assess clients, plan treatment, monitor health concerns, and coordinate timely support with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities: Complete risk assessments, screenings, and eligibility assessments
Monitor physical, addiction, and mental health issues
Develop treatment plans for clients requiring recovery services
Provide secure,



quality patient and family-centered care
Liaise with internal, allied, contracted, and community stakeholders
Requirements: Completion of an accredited nursing education program
Active or eligible CRNA registration and practice permit
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Health Care Provider certification
Recent Addiction and Mental Health Services experience preferred
Connect Care or NVCI experience preferred
