As an Underground Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician, you will support Komatsu underground equipment and customer fleets. Your work includes repairs, overhauls, diagnostics, and maintenance across mobile and stationary mining equipment. You will also handle attachments, documentation, and customer-site service.
Key Responsibilities: Perform overhauls, diagnostics, and repairs on underground drifters
Complete assemblies, maintenance, repairs, and equipment overhauls
Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical equipment issues
Conduct inspections, paperwork, and options installations




Travel to customer mine sites as required
Requirements: Heavy Equipment Technician Journeyperson certificate
Experience working with underground mining equipment
Underground equipment repair and overhaul experience
Electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical troubleshooting experience
Comfort working in confined spaces and lifting up to 50 pounds
Apply technical expertise, safety awareness, and customer focus while servicing Komatsu underground equipment throughout British Columbia.
