Rome seeks an entry-level Logistics Coordinator to keep shipments moving smoothly across North America. You will work with operations and sales teams while managing freight quotes, order entry, shipment tracking, and issue resolution. Previous 3PL experience is an asset, and training is available.
Key Responsibilities: Obtain carrier quotes and evaluate freight pricing
Communicate costs and assist with rate negotiations
Enter orders accurately into company systems
Monitor shipments and provide timely ETA updates
Resolve shipment and administrative process issues
Requirements: Post-secondary education in a relevant field preferred
At least one year of logistics experience preferred
Proficiency with Excel, Outlook, Word, and CRM systems
Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy
Proactive motivation to build a logistics career
Build logistics expertise at Rome through freight quoting, shipment tracking, accurate order entry, and collaborative problem-solving.
