Serve Headwaters Health Care Centre’s community as a full-time Registered Nurse across Emergency and Intensive Care in the Float Pool.
This opportunity suits an Ontario-registered nurse with recent Emergency Room and Intensive Care experience. The successful applicant cares for patients in either department while functioning as a Critical Care Float Nurse. Experience with coronary care, ventilation, arterial lines, or central lines supports the department’s specialized nursing needs.
Key Responsibilities: Care for Emergency Department and Intensive Care patients
Function in the capacity of Critical Care Float Nurse
Perform expected Registered Nurse duties
Complete transfers while working across departments
Abide by approved standards of care
Requirements: Registered Nurse in valuable standing with College of Nurses of Ontario
Coronary Care Level 1 and 2 required
One to two years recent Emergency Room or ICU experience
Mechanical ventilation experience preferred
Arterial and central line maintenance experience preferred
Use Emergency, ICU, and coronary care experience to deliver accountable nursing across Headwaters Health Care Centre’s Float Pool.
