Calmont Group seeks an organized, team-oriented Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician for its Calgary truck centre. Under the Service Manager, you will complete assigned work from the Shop Foreman. The role requires interpreting technical manuals, diagnosing faults, and repairing truck systems. You will also test vehicles against manufacturer specifications and legislated regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Review work orders from the Shop Foreman
Interpret technical manuals and assigned repair instructions
Diagnose faults and perform required heavy duty repairs
Replace defective parts, components, or systems accurately
Test vehicles and complete detailed work order reports
Requirements: Journeyman Heavy Duty Technician certification
Minimum three years of related industry experience
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Class 5 Driver's License
Class 3 Driver's License considered an asset
Use certified diagnostics, repair, testing, and reporting skills to maintain heavy duty trucks at Calmont Truck Centre Calgary.
