Cambrian College requires a full time Employment Consultant for Employment Options - Manitoulin. You will assess client eligibility, skills, interests, abilities, education, and work experience, then create service plans with vocational goals and practical steps. Responsibilities include career direction, community referrals, workshop delivery, job-search monitoring, employer coordination, and detailed file documentation. The main location is Little Current, with travel between sites and employer workplaces.
Key Responsibilities: Assess eligibility, skills, interests, abilities, and barriers
Create service plans defining vocational goals and steps




Provide ongoing career direction and appropriate referrals
Research and deliver employment-related client workshops
Complete files, releases, service agreements, and follow-up
Requirements: Related two-year postsecondary diploma or equivalent
Three years’ employment guidance and counselling experience
Workshop delivery and job placement experience
Effective communication, judgement, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Bring structured assessment, counselling, workshop delivery, and documentation skills to client-focused employment services at Cambrian College.
