Gentek Building Products needs an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic skilled in machinery repair, machine guarding, and production equipment troubleshooting. Rotating shifts and overtime are required.
This Licensed Mechanic position focuses on reliable mechanical equipment performance within an industrial establishment. You will work with oil pumps, cooling and heating systems, machine guarding, fabricated parts, and equipment installations. Plans, blueprints, hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools support the work, alongside safety documentation and communication with supervisors and managers.
Key Responsibilities: Repair and install machine guarding for production equipment
Maintain oil pumps and cooling and heating systems
Dismantle machines and equipment according to requirements




Install equipment using drawings, hoists, and tools
Communicate safety and process issues to supervisors
Requirements: Ontario Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal Millwright 433A
Extrusion equipment experience considered an asset
Electrical, welding, or pipefitting qualifications considered assets
Ability to work independently, safely, and with excellent attendance
Ability to lift more than 25 pounds regularly
Bring licensed millwright capability, guarding experience, and production maintenance skills to Gentek Building Products’ industrial equipment.
