Baker Tilly is seeking a Senior Accountant, Assurance for Uptown, Westshore, or Sidney, BC. Bring financial reporting and tax expertise.
This permanent, full-time position combines assurance, accounting, and tax responsibilities within a mid-size public accounting firm. You will prepare and review corporate, personal, and trust returns, plus T4 and T5 summaries and slips. The schedule is Monday to Friday, with versatile start and end times and one permitted work-from-home day weekly.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review T2, T1, and T3 tax returns
Prepare T4 and T5 summaries and slips
Prepare and review compilation engagement reports
Mentor and train junior accounting staff
Perform required accounting, tax, and administrative duties
Requirements: Canadian CPA designation
Cashflow experience
Minimum three years’ public practice experience
Minimum three years reviewing audit files
Desire to grow within a mid-size public accounting firm
Support Baker Tilly clients through tax preparation, assurance work, financial reporting, and mentorship in British Columbia.
